Iranian cargo vessel struck near Qeshm Island as Oman delays Tehran-Gulf talks

An Iranian cargo vessel was struck off Qeshm Island in the Strait of Hormuz on Sunday, killing one person and wounding four, Iranian state media said. Tehran blamed a “terrorist enemy” for the attack, which came as threats to shipping intensified around the Hormuz and Bab el-Mandeb straits.
